Responsibilities:

·        Currently I’m involved in development of a project in Visual Basic using COM/DCOM methodology with MTS, at the client site, ie. Mediware Westmont Illinios. The COM components are written in VC++ as well as in Visual Basic but the front end is completely in Visual Basic, It also involves thorough knowledge of TruDBGrid (A third party tool from Apex.com).

·        Hemocare is one of the country’s leading stand-alone integrated data management system for the hospital blood bank. The system was designed in collaboration with Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Hemocare’s software programs are organized into subsystems performing over 200 functions some of which are the ability to manage and control blood inventory; perform long-term donor and transfusion record keeping; store and manage characteristics of blood products to be transfused; maintain patient and transfusion records; maintain the records of patient test results, and automate billing and workload recording.The product contains a Testing Module for testing the blood products,Patient Module which keep tracks about the patients.

Responsibilities:

·        Involved in Installing the Vantive package, including the installation of VanTool, VanClient and VanServer.

·        Installing the Oracle 8i and creating the instances of Oracle.

·        Setting up / Installing the databases and tables for Vantive applications.

·        Cataloging of  tables and the columns to the Vantive applications, using the Van Tools.

·        Created Groups using the VanTools.

·        Then created Users and assigned them to the created group.

·        I was also involved in providing rights to the various users.

·        Used CRM package, Vantive to customize the application so as to abridge the gap between the sales and services for the Telecom Industry.

·        Used VBScript for effective client-side scripting.

·        Lastly was involved in testing, debugging and troubleshooting any bugs, then finally Installation of the product at the client PCs.
